Kay Dee Baird is a 2001 graduate of Shelbyville Central High School. After graduation, Ms. Baird attended Indiana University, Indianapolis, and graduated from the Kelley School of Business with high distinction and bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance. Ms. Baird then attended the Robert H. McKinney School of Law, Indianapolis, Indiana. Ms. Baird graduated from law school cum laude in 2009.
Ms. Baird is a currently a resident of Shelbyville. She is a partner at the law firm of Krieg DeVault LLP, where she represents primarily banks and financial institutions as a member of the firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group. Ms. Baird is also a member of the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and represents clients in commercial litigation.
In addition to being a member of the Shelbyville Central Schools Foundation, Ms. Baird is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Commercial and Bankruptcy Law Section of the Indianapolis Bar Association and a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
